I earned my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling after spending more than a decade working as a movement coach and trainer, with a background in dance and athletics. Long before I became a therapist, I was fascinated by the connection between our physical and emotional experiences. Through that work, I saw how our relationship with our body influences nearly every part of our lives—from intimacy and food to illness, grief, identity, and change. That understanding remains at the heart of the work I do today.
I work with individuals and couples navigating concerns related to body image, food, intimacy, sexuality, chronic illness, life transitions, and trauma. Together, we'll explore how these experiences have shaped your relationship with your body, yourself, and the people you love. Using a collaborative, trauma-informed, and somatic approach, I'll help guide the process while honoring your pace. I believe meaningful change begins when you understand your experiences with curiosity instead of judgment and feel empowered to move through life in a way that feels authentic to you. I practice queer-affirming and gender-affirming care and welcome clients of all identities and relationship structures.
